UAV Integration Engineer – Drone Systems

Perform end-to-end integration of UAV systems including flight controllers, ESCs, motors, power modules, telemetry, GPS, and payloads.
Calibrate IMUs, compasses, GPS modules, cameras, gimbals, and other flight-critical sensors.
Integrate advanced payloads such as EO/IR cameras, thermal sensors, LiDAR, rangefinders, and custom defence-grade modules.
Ensure compliance with Indian Defence standards, UAV guidelines, and platform-specific performance requirements.
Conduct bench testing, ground testing, and flight-readiness assessments.
Coordinate with embedded, mechanical, and avionics teams for seamless system-level integration.
Troubleshoot hardware, firmware, and signal-level issues during system bring-up.
Set up, monitor, and analyze logs (ArduPilot/PX4) to fine-tune and validate system performance.
Prepare integration documentation, calibration logs, and technical reports.
Assist in field trials, customer demos, and defence acceptance testing.
Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics, Aerospace Engineering, or related fields.
Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in UAV integration, testing, or field engineering.
Strong understanding of UAV components including:
Flight controllers (PX4, ArduPilot, Cube, Pixhawk variants)
ESCs, BLDC motors, and propulsion systems
GPS, magnetometer, IMU, barometer, and other sensors
Telemetry radios, RF modules, and ground-control systems
Camera payloads, gimbals, and imaging systems
Expertise in calibration of:
IMU, compass, accelerometer, and gyroscope
Camera and gimbal systems
Radio channels, fail-safe, and power calibration
Strong experience in interpreting logs from Mission Planner, QGroundControl, and analyzing flight stability.
Knowledge of Indian Defence UAV requirements including:
EMI/EMC considerations
Redundancy and fail-safe standards
Secure communication & encryption modules
Deployment and field-testing procedures
Proficiency in using lab tools:
Multimeter, DSO, power analyzers
Signal testers and servo testers
Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve system-level issues independently.
