Surya Drone Tech 2025, held on 29th of April 2025 at Jaswant Ground in Dehradun, put India’s homegrown drone technology on full display. Organised by the HW Central Command of the Indian Army in collaboration with the Society of Indian Defence Manufacturers (SIDM), the two- day expo aligned with the government’s vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat vision (Self- Reliant India). Gurmit Singh (Retd.), Mr. Rajinder Singh Bhatia (SIDM President), and Lt. Gen. Anindhya Sengupta, GOC-in-C Central Command, underscoring the high-level support for India’s drone ecosystem.
A Focus on Atmanirbhar Bharat and Innovation
Surya Drone Tech showcased cutting- edge Unmanned aerial vehicles and counter- drone technologies developed in India.
